The shopping basket will automatically work out the correct postage for your order based on the combined weight of the items you have added to the basket and your delivery address. Any available options for delivery will then appear in the delivery drop down menu starting from £2.95. Why do we charge for delivery?There is no such thing as free delivery – retailers who offer free delivery are really just hiding the delivery charge within their product prices. We have taken a more transparent approach – we focus on providing the best product prices we can and apply a postage, packaging and handling charge to cover the costs of processing and sending your order. We have negotiated the best prices we can with courier companies in the UK and Europe to keep the cost to you as low as possible. If you find yourself tempted to order from a retailer offering free delivery, then we urge you to check the total cost of the shopping basket before checking out as you will usually find that you are paying more in total just to get free delivery. We aim to dispatch all orders that are in stock within 3 business days. If your item is out of stock, we will email you if it will take longer than 7 days for new stock to come in and give you the option of cancelling your order. If no one is at home when delivery is attempted the driver may check to see if a neighbour is at home and leave the parcel with them. If you leave a signed note explaining that the order can be left in a specific location, the driver can take this away and the goods can be left where you choose, however this is done at your own risk. If this is not possible they will leave a calling card and either attempt re-delivery the following working day or ask you to collect from your local depot. Clear details of this will be on the card that will be left by your driver. If the delivery address you've provided us with is incorrect or it refuses delivery of the goods or if you do not respond to the card left by the driver, your order will be returned to us and we will be charged for the return service by our courier which we must pass on to you. We will then cancel your order and refund your payment method deducting your original delivery costs plus £10 to cover the return costs. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyong our control such as strike action or weather conditions. We highly recommend using the courier delivery option to minimise any chances of a delay with your order. If you choose Royal Mail as your delivery option please wait at least 15 working days (for deliveries in the UK) and 28 days (for international deliveries) from the date we accepted your order before contacting us if you haven't received your order. If you provide us with a wrong delivery address and your goods are signed for by another party, we cannot be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.
