"I have never left a review for a product before, but this is truly amazing.
My daughter is just 2 and whilst she has always gone to sleep with no problems, she has always woken up very early in the morning, about 5am, and it was starting to kill me and her dad.
I visited someone's house and they had just bought this clock for their son and this was the first time I had heard of it, so without knowing whether it was effective or not, I decided to give it a try.
We used it the first time on Boxing day, while staying at Nanny's and we read the book it came with and repeatedly pointed out the picture of the clock in the book. We set the clock so the sun came up at 7.30am and she actually stayed asleep in bed until 9am, a miracle!
We thought it was a fluke but it has worked everyday since.
Our daughter still wakes up early but we just go in, point to the clock face and remind her that she doesn't get up till the sun comes out and she just lies back down and goes back to sleep, we don't even have to pick her up, it's amazing.
This morning was the 7th morning of using it and she didn't even wake up till it was time to get up. It has made our Christmas holidays an absolute joy, we've never had so much sleep since she was born, it's going to be hard to get back into routine tomorrow!
I realise that one cannot predict how their child will respond to products like these, but I would recommend giving it go, it has been the best money we've ever spent!"

"So so pleased we bought this clock. Our 3 year old just loves it, and now he understands when it's morning and therefore when to get up. He gets a sense of security from knowing if it's night or day, and also from the subtle glow of the night light throughout the night. I only wish I'd bought one earlier!!
If I could change anything then I would make the digital numbers bigger as we have the clock at the foot of his bed so you cannot read the numbers. However, you would be able to if they were on a bedside table.
I'll be purchasing another one for my daughter as soon as she either shows interest or moves into a big bed - whichever is soonest.

"Gro Clock is great. Toddler (turning 3 in November) is loving it and is so proud when the sun comes up and he can get out of bed. Concept is simple and easy for this age group to understand. Great purchase, so far so good! 3 weeks and counting!"

"This was my second Glo Clock, after moving my sons into separate rooms. It is great now that they know not to disturb mummy and daddy until the sun comes up. And they both like the night-light on the clock, too."

"I purchased this item for my 29 month old son. He is really good about going to sleep (is in bed and asleep by 7pm) but he has been waking at 5am and we've been un-successful in convincing him to sleep any later.
I was a little bit concerned that the product may not be suitable for him yet (as it's recommended for children 3 years and above) but the theory of how it works seemed simple enough, and I thought he would be able to understand it, so I was keen to give it a try.
He was really happy when we un-packed the clock and instantly took to the "Mr Sun & Mr Star" charecters and the book helped to explain the clock to him brilliantly. We read the book several times together and practiced setting it, so that he could see the faces changing. We talked about the fact that he had to sleep when "Mr. Star" was on show but could play as soon as he saw Mr. Sun.
He appeared to understand this principle and was very happy to go to bed and set his clock. The first few times that we used the clock, he continued to wake up earlier than the time that we'd set it for. But when he woke up, he seemed confused that Mr. Sun hadn't appeared and we encouraged him to return to sleep.
After a few nights, he appeared to be paying attention to the clock, as he would wake up and say " look. Mr Sun is out".
We've been using the clock for a couple of weeks and the novelty of it endures. It has a nap-time mode ( in addition to the night-time setting) and being able to adjust the display brightness is very helpful.
I'm really pleased with the purchase, and feel sure that it will continue to assist the quality and length on his sleep for several years to come."

"Can't praise this product enough, my little boy (age 30 months) had been waking between 5.45 & 6.00 most days, so something needed to be done! We originally set the clock for the sun to come up at 6.00 and have then changed the timings by 5 minutes, just so that he can see that it really does work. We are now at 7.15 and each morning we now hear a shout saying "the sun is up mummy come and get me!" It feels like such a lie in!
The book works very well with the clock and the brightness can be altered, which is great, you are also able to lock the settings so that little fingers can't change the settings!
Would definitely recommend to my friends that are struggling to get a decent sleep and the price on this site is the best I have seen."

"Our son (32mths) loves turning the stars on at night, although he's not yet got the hang of waiting for the sun to rise before getting up. The nightlight is very bright, which disturbed his sleep until we realised that you can adjust the level of brightness - a great function. The key lock function is also a must. It's a nice looking product at a great price."

"Brought this clock as my daughter comes into our room at least 4 times a night and altho she hasn't stopped completely, the clock is helping to reduce it down to twice a night!! We're hoping it will continue its good work!"

"My nearly two-year old quickly got the concept of not getting up till the sunshine said hello, and enjoyed saying goodnight to the sun every evening as part of his routine. He still gets up, but tends to play quietly in his room until the sun makes an appearance. It's great, would really recommend!"
