A Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is a wearable blanket that will keep your baby at a comfortable temperature all night long. A safe and sound night's sleep for your baby means peace of mind and more sleep for you!

Until quite recently Baby Sleep Bags were a little known form of bedding in the UK. Convinced of the inherent safety benefits and the related improvement in sleep for both child and parent, in 2000, Rob and Ouvrielle Holmes, working in close partnership with the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death (FSID), introduced Grobag Baby Sleep Bags to the UK.

As a result of Grobag's continued work with FSID and dedication to safety, Grobag are now the only Baby Sleep Bags to be recommended by FSID, our official partner in promoting safer sleeping for babies.

Extensive research has been conducted to ensure that each size Grobag Baby Sleep Bag fits properly - big enough so that air can circulate and baby does not overheat - small enough to ensure that baby does not slip down inside. Our 0-6 month size is now suitable to be used from 7lbs. All our Grobag Baby Sleep Bags have a cotton lining, which is kind to your baby's skin

We are always looking for ways to make Grobag Baby Sleep Bags even better. Based upon extensive research with parents like you, we invented the zip-click™ feature on 18-36 month bags, which helps prevent adventurous little ones from opening the zip.

Grobag Baby Sleep Bags come in a variety of soft fabrics, and all of the designs have a cotton lining to go next to your baby’s skin. They are available in woven cotton, organic cotton, soft cotton jersey, luxurious velour and soft anti-pill fleece. Our 2.5 tog grobag® baby sleeping bags have a soft polyester filling which is lightweight and quick to dry. The 1.0 and 0.5 tog Grobag Baby Sleep Bags are made of 100% cotton, as there is no filling on the lighter weight togs. Zips and poppers are always selected from a reputable branded supplier to ensure the highest ongoing quality and safety.

Grobag Baby Sleep Bags can be washed at 40°C and tumble dried on a low heat setting. As with all cotton goods, we have designed Grobag Baby Sleep Bags to allow for up to 5% shrinkage. Experience has told us that it is usually best to buy two Grobag Baby Sleeping Bags – one to wear and one for the wash! To ensure the long life of your Grobag Baby Sleep Bag, the zip must be in the closed position throughout washing, tumble drying and ironing. It is advisable to turn the product inside out before washing. Do not iron over the zip.

We are obsessed with safety of our products and we work very closely with the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID). We help spread the 'safe sleep' message and help fund research into safer sleeping. Below you will find advice on how to use your Grobag Baby Sleep Bag correctly:
 

• Your Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is intended to be used instead of blankets and sheets.
• Never use your Grobag Baby Sleep Bag with a duvet or quilt.
• Check that your baby's head cannot pass through the neck hole when the Grobag Baby Sleep Bag is fastened for use.
• Adjust nightwear according to room temperature (you will soon discover the best combination of nightclothes, blankets and Grobag Baby Sleeping Bag for your baby's bedroom). See what to wear page for more information.
• Keep Grobag Baby Sleep Bags away from fire.
• The safest place for your baby to sleep is in a crib or cot in a room with you for the first six months. After that if your baby shares your bed, make sure they are only in a Grobag Baby Sleep Bag and not under your own bedding as well.
• Remember to check your baby regularly.
• This product is not intended for use as a dressing gown.
