"I bought this as my baby was born a month early and came in at 3lb 15oz. When we got her home she was still only 5lb and too small for the Baby Bjorn carrier we had already got. The Moby wrap is much better for her as it supports her body and she really enjoys the closeness of being so snug against my body. It can also be used for skin to skin time. I found it fairly easy to start using - after about 4-5 times I was confident enough to use it out and about. I found it helpful to watch a youtube video on how to put it on though instead of relying totally on the instruction leaflet. It is very comfortable as it has no straps and I can also breastfeed while wearing it. I would highly recommend this product, particularly for people with small babies."

"Very happy with this product. The second carrier I have bought for our premmie son - first was an over the shoulder bag type and was no good as his posture was scrunched up. This feels a lot safer as his back and neck are straight. Wish we had got this first. Not as complicated as it looks to use and son falls asleep straight away. Perfect for 20 min walk to shops (just throw my parka on over the top) - much better than him rattling around in a big old pram for the time being!"

"I haven't found this product that useful as its quite difficult to get a wriggling baby into it, especially when they're already upset. Also its a faff putting the wrap on because its so very long, and it takes a bit of practice to get the tightness right - if its too tight you can't get the baby in easily and if its too loose she ends up around your waist. Also I was a bit concerned at having all her weight pressing down on her squashed up legs and feet in some of the positions. Having said that, once its on right and the baby is in it, she does quieten down. Maybe I'll use it more when she's a bit older..."

"Even though I chose and bought it, I was, initially, a little unconvinced with the Moby Wrap. How could 'just a bit of material' safely hold my bundle of joy and not give me back pain? Well, it beats me how, but it does! It takes a little while to master the tying, but after a week I managed to put it on without the aid of a mirror or extra pair of hands (this'll make more sense when you try your own)! It has a superbly strong hold with splendidly soft fabric, and is fab to use around the house and out and about. I took it on a recent city break and 'wore' my baby all day for 4 days with absolutely no back pain or discomfort, despite the miles we walked! But like the previous reviewer, I haven't managed the breastfeeding hold yet and I've had the Wrap for over a month. It doesn't score a full 5 stars as the instruction book doesn't give much 'troubleshooting' help - for example it took me a while to figure out that the higher the cross of material on your back, the higher up your chest your baby will be 'worn'. Maybe that's obvious to others! And I chose Pacific Blue, which turns out to be sea green. Very nice, but I was expecting blue! Hints: A handy hint for while you're still getting the hang of the Wrap: if you're going to be driving somewhere and then using it, tie it on before you get in the car (make sure you've already decided whether to wear it over your coat, or to wrap your coat around it) and then put your baby in when you get to your destination. In theory you can put your baby in and take him out as much as you like without re-tying the Wrap, but in practice, after a while it goes a bit baggy and needs tightening. Also, you get quite warm wearing your baby, so you probably won't need as many jumpers as you're used to. Finally, the people in the photos have all been styled - no matter how hard I try, I cannot get the smooth, uncrumpled look that any of the photos show!"

"The wrap is so useful for being able to potter around the house while my little girl is awake but not playing. Have yet to master the breast feeding 'hold' but have only had the wrap for a week or so. The material is a lot softer on the skin than I imagined too."
